Four Eyes

Oh, to be human!
I’m looking at the bigger picture these days. Because yes, shit does, indeed, happen… But even beyond that, sometimes intention matters more than the shit, itself. We are human. We are clumsy. We say the wrong things at the wrong time. We’re late when the people we love need us the most. But if we give those people enough to know at the end of the day, or better yet at that moment, that we want nothing more than to always be there for them, love them, hold them… that could be more than enough… their faith in us and our faith in them. In the past year, I’ve learned that faith keeps us alive… and that’s all the more reason to keep faith alive.
Sometimes I wonder why people have so much faith in me. And when there’s no more room for questions, I’m left with nothing but gratefulness to the good God who brought me these angels. And because I believe in a merciful and loving God, I start to believe in other people. And when I believe in them, they believe in themselves. And if that could be enough, the faith I have in myself multiplies. And exponentially. Oh, to be human! To be human is such a blessing.
